The discovery of some long-lost photos ignites a search for a heroic female activist whom history largely has forgotten in the new episode "Adios Amor — The Search for Maria Moreno." Years before Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta launched the United Farm Workers, Moreno — a committed activist on migrant issues who also was mother to 12 children — used her voice and her eloquence to become an acknowledged leader of her nascent movement, in an era when women almost inevitably were pushed to the background.
