PBS NewsHour Convention Coverage

PBS | 8:00 pm

Most major networks, cable news channels and social media platforms begin coverage of the four-day Democratic National Convention, which is almost entirely being conducted remotely owing to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The week builds to a Thursday night climax, when presumptive nominee Joe Biden will formally deliver a speech accepting his party's nomination for the presidency. Tonight's schedule is largely given over to a series of other speakers, followed on Tuesday by the keynote address and roll-call vote, and Wednesday night's acceptance speech by the vice presidential nominee.
