An award winner at the Sundance Film Festival, filmmaker Sam Soko's documentary profiles political activist Boniface "Softie" Mwangi, an audacious political activist who decides to run for political office in Kenya, having spent several years fighting for justice there. Somewhat predictably, he quickly finds that running a clean campaign against wildly corrupt opponents, with only his idealism as a weapon, is challenging, to put it mildly.
