The words "the big one" will be on the lips and minds of everyone today at Talladega Superspeedway, home of the GEICO 500. The 2.66-mile Alabama tri-oval's wide straightaways often make for tightly-packed groups, frequently leading to multiple car pileups. But that was not the case a year ago, when Ryan Blaney made a last-lap pass to win in a photo finish over Ricky Stenhouse Jr. in an uncharacteristically wreck-free contest. He'll return today to defend his title from a field including Stenhouse, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano and Kevin Harvick.
