Eleven of the jurors in a young man's murder trial are ready to declare him guilty and go home as soon as they get the case. But the 12th insists they actually deliberate; after all, a life is at stake. His "not guilty" vote forces the others to take a hard look at their perceptions, prejudices and priorities. Henry Fonda's portrayal of the holdout juror is one of his best performances. Lee J. Cobb, Ed Begley, E.G. Marshall and Jack Klugman also star in this 1957 drama, airing as part of TCM's Wednesday courtroom theme night.
