Season 22 of this groundbreaking docuseries concludes with two new back-to-back episodes, starting with "Clayton," the story of a previously devoted family man whose formative years were spent with a father struggling with gender dysphoria, which sparked frequent fights between his parents. Eventually, Clayton turned to alcohol, then hard drugs, to numb the pain. Now a full-blown heroin addict, he has lost custody of his 8-year-old daughter. The finale, "Elann," presents the sad story of a woman whose untimely family losses have driven her to life-threatening alcoholism.
