Generation 9/11

PBS | 9:00 pm

A U.S.-British-French co-production, this new two-hour documentary marks the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attack on New York's World Trade Center by following children born to fathers who died in the collapse of the Twin Towers. An estimated 108 children, unborn on the day of the 9/11 attacks, lost their fathers in that tragedy. The film introduces several of those young people, weaving together such subsequent personal milestones as their first day of school and how they learned about the circumstances of their father's death.
