Airing in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month,"Rita Moreno: Just a Girl Who Decided to Go for It" profiles the Oscar-, Emmy-, Grammy- and Tony Award-winning actress whose career has spanned 70 years. The film traces how Moreno was born into poverty before immigrating from Puerto Rico to New York at age 5 with her seamstress mother. Despite becoming the first Latina actress to win an Oscar (for "West Side Story"), she subsequently found herself relegated to stereotypical lesser roles. Interviewees include Norman Lear, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Gloria Estefan and Eva Longoria.
