Filmmaker Amy Scott chronicles the life and career of music icon Sheryl Crow, whose hard-won success has been the result of battles with sexism, depression, cancer and her own merciless perfectionism. Unfolding largely through present-day interviews with Crow, as well as behind-the-scenes footage on the road and in her studio, the film also includes extensive archival footage and interviews with such friends and allies as Laura Dern, Keith Richards, Joe Walsh, Emmylou Harris and Brandi Carlile, among others.
