The 106th running of the Indianapolis 500 commences at Indianapolis Motor Speedway … in a place actually called Speedway, Ind. The event dubbed "the Greatest Spectacle in Racing" is steeped in racing tradition as it's been held since 1911. The winner, of course, raises a toast with the customary bottle of milk. Brazil's Helio Castroneves won his fourth Indy 500 in 2021, thus tying him with Rick Mears, A.J. Foyt and Al Unser Sr. as the only drivers to coast down Victory Lane four times.
