A&E Network's groundbreaking — and Emmy-winning — docuseries that profiles subjects struggling with an almost hopeless addiction to a substance or destructive behavior returns for its 24th season of stories about families trying to save a loved one from oblivion. The season premiere,"Kenny," looks at a Northern California native whose childhood dreams of playing for the NFL were scuttled by a series of mistakes during high school. Eventually, Kenny was homeless and severely addicted to fentanyl. His family turns to interventionist Michael Gonzales for help.
